Description: A 1950s vintage cotton dress in the dramatic "new look" style and in an appealing lightweight plum colored cotton. This striking dress has extensive pintucking on the bodice with a bosom flattering crossover front, a banded waist and a very full circle skirt. A metal zipper opens the back and the dress is unlined & unlabeled (though it looks as though a commercial label has fallen off). In nice condition with a very, very pale bit of yellowing in a small area on 1 shoulder, virtually undetectable. Shown with a full crinoline half slip & rhinestone choker - neither included.
